Jason Runyan is an MBA Candidate at the UF Hough Graduate School of Business located deep in the heart of hot and humid Gainesville, FL.
Prior to attending UF Jason was a television producer in Los Angeles, CA. He kicked off his career at The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and has developed primetime television projects for networks such as NBC, CBS, USA, VH1, NICKELODEON, SPIKE and GSN.
In an era where competition for our cognitive surplus is cutthroat and traditional media is failing, Jason returned to school to enhance his expertise in media production with a skills in marketing, international business and information science.
He expects to graduate on May 1st, 2010 and intends on pursuing a career in marketing, with a hyperfocus on digital media, social media and conversational marketing.
